Reporting to the DBP/EAP Administrator, this position’s primary role is to investigate, assess, case manage and administer the disability benefits process including coordinating the services of outside agencies.
The successful applicant will have excellent interpersonal, communication, problem solving, organizational, assessment, analytical and presentation skills. In addition, the position requires proficient computer skills and a commitment to work as a member of a team. In-depth knowledge and experience of claims adjudication, case management and rehabilitation practices with an understanding of medical terminology, medical conditions and treatment modalities is essential. The position requires a post-secondary education in an allied health discipline or related field with a minimum of three (3) years directly related experience. The ability to speak French will be considered an asset. A car is required for provincial travel.
Terms and conditions of employment are covered by a collective agreement. The starting salary for this position is $98,223 with a comprehensive benefits package and excellent working conditions.
