We are looking for a full-time Program Analyst that will work out of the Edmonton office reporting to the Manager, Education and Engagement. This in-scope position will be responsible for the implementation of HSAA’s organization and mobilization strategies. The incumbent will apply campaign, communications, organizing and political action theory to ensure members have significant opportunities to participate in their union. With exposure to a broad range of activities and a diverse team, this opportunity will support your career development and aspirations! What you bring:
You are an energetic, collaborative, and values-driven individual with a minimum of three years’ experience in campaigning, organizing, or union mobilization. You have obtained a certificate or degree in Labour Relations, Human Resources, Political Science or a related program. Equivalencies may be considered.
You have experience in coordinating or organizing campaigns for unions, elections, or issues-based operations. You have a demonstrated ability in persuasive communication and you are skilled in creating optimum environments to mobilize members. You are experienced in tracking mobilization tactics and analyzing key performance indicators using a variety of data tools. Your background and commitment to trade union philosophy supports your ability to make key recommendations for program, policy, and process development ensuring advancement of HSAA’s strategic plan. Travel throughout Alberta is required for this position so you have a valid driver’s license and access to your own vehicle, along with the ability to work flexible hours.
