We are looking for a temporary full-time Program Analyst that will work out of the Edmonton office reporting to the Member Services Manager for a 12-month term. This in-scope position will be responsible for the implementation of HSAA’s steward program. The steward program is designed to develop essential skills and knowledge to support worksite advocacy for members, local leadership, and ensure HSAA members understand their rights under the Collective Agreement. With exposure to a broad range of activities and a diverse team, this opportunity will support your career development and aspirations!
What You Bring:
You are an energetic, collaborative, and values-driven individual with a minimum of three years’ experience in Adult Education working within a unionized environment, or a related background. You have obtained a university degree or an adult learning certificate specializing in Labour Relations, Industrial Relations, Human Resources, Education, or a related discipline. Equivalencies may be considered. You have experience in developing course material utilizing adult learning methods and tools to support effective learning outcomes. You have a demonstrated ability in training and team facilitation, and you are skilled in creating optimum learning environments for workshop attendees. Your background in adult education and commitment to trade union philosophy and public healthcare supports your ability to make key recommendations for program, policy, and process development ensuring advancement of HSAA’s strategic plan.
