Mini Conferences are one-day intensive courses that bring CALM’s high-quality workshops to unions who aren’t usually able to attend a national conference.

The next CALM Mini Conference is in Sudbury on April 30, 2019 at the USW Hall – 66 Brady St. The conference will start at 9:00 AM and finish by 4:00 PM.

Delegates who are needing a hotel may want to consider the Holiday Inn/Mariott 1-866-238-4518 as it is unionized.

The 75-minute newsletter

Newsletters made simple using MailChimp. In this 75-minute workshop block, delegates will learn MailChimp basics, and how to create a great email newsletter to keep their members informed about current events. You will also learn how to use CALM’s newsletter templates if your union is looking to circulate a physical copy.

Social media is an effective tool in getting your message out, but is just posting your message on your Facebook and Instagram pages enough? If you want to learn how to use Facebook and Instagram advertising to power your member engagement and community campaigns, this is a workshop you won’t want to miss.

AND let’s not forget all the fun EDITING APPS!! Get the most out of your phone at events and functions! Join us for a super fun Smartphone camera workshop!
