Agency

Bridge Communications
Bridge Communications specializes in advocacy and public education, mostly for unions but also for independent media and First Nations. Our company president was communications staff with our province’s larger union for more than a decade, and we have extensive knowledge about union issues.
Our work is driven by research. We develop communications and marketing strategies and provide branding services. We supply solid advice on media relations, crisis communications, and reputation management. We also develop plans to optimize conventional and digital ad buys.
We design and produce television ads, radio ads, digital advertising, print ads, videos, publications, signage, swag, and WordPress websites. We develop both still and video assets for social media and programmatic advertising.
Working with a trusted partner, Ryan Research, we design and conduct surveys (online, telephone, and mail in) and focus groups. We use the best directors, editors, crews, and photographers in our province.
We pride ourselves on our principles. We buy union made and made in Canada. We use unionized talent and pay union rates. All our web clients own their own domain names and hosting packages, and we train our clients to make changes to their own websites. We do not accept commissions or mark up media buys. In fact, we don’t mark up any expenses incurred on our clients’ behalf. We are not a typical agency.

Allan Fisher
Allan has been building websites for 10 years now using WordPress.
Having built sites for a number of unions, as well as being a Unifor member himself, helps Allan understand the unique needs related to designing a website that helps Locals serve and inform their members.
Allan uses an integrated approach to website design because the tools we use as union activists and so much of what we do to communicate with our members relies on multi-platform integration.
Let’s talk.
